Abstract

The present communication deals with the results obtained by the electrochemistry research group at the Politecnico di Torino in Italy in the field of materials for Li‐ion cells. Cathode (LiFePO~4~/C powder), anode (Ni~3~Sn~4~–C alloy) and electrolyte (gel‐polymer membrane) cell components have been prepared with the aim of obtaining, beyond high performance, cheap materials from easily disposable reagents via simple and reliable preparations.
