✦ Synopsis

The rlectric conductivit> of N.N.N'_N'-tctrametbyl-p-pbenylenediamine solutions in methylcyclohe~ane induced by a 3-ti mu laser pulse 1~1s been studied. At temperatures < 180 K a new transient photoconductivity effect has been revealed, a current peel; whose durxion (~30 IIS) equals tbr duration of the laser pulse. The current is attributed to the electric polarizarion of tmpped elecrron-carion pairs bcforc gninate recombination.
