## Abstract The optimization of surfaceโ€enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) activity of gold nanoparticles is essential for further enhancing SERS capability in terms of high sensitivity, stability and reproducibility. Recently, we utilized a simple seedโ€mediated growth method to synthesize monodisper
