✦ Synopsis

An N2 laser pumped dye Iaser has been used as the exciting pulse source in flash photolysis with a tinie resolution in the ns range. Using the apparatus described it was possible to monitor second order decays. Advantages of this set-up are tunability, reproducibility of the exciting source, and the rapidity of the measurements.
