## Abstract An analysis of the ^19^F n.m.r. spectra of heptafluoroisoquinoline and hexafluoro‐1‐methoxyisoquinoline is presented. As in heptafluoroquinoline, the inter‐ring Fο£ΏF coupling constants alternate in sign and magnitude and are positive over an odd number of bonds. They correlate with SCFMO

Adducts of thallium (III) acetate to norbornene and norbornadiene have been prepared(') recently, and their structures studied (1) . However, the evidence available does not allow unequivocal assignments to the configurations of the T~(OAC)~ groups in these compounds.
