The present paper describes the isolation and linkage mapping of two isoforms of skeletal muscle myosin heavy chain in pig. Two partial cDNAs (pAZMY4 and pAZMY7), coding for the porcine myosin heavy chain‐2B and ‐β respectively, have been isolated from a pig skeletal muscle cDNA library. Four RFLPs
