Abstract
The distribution and relative concentrations of muscarine and its isomers in Inocybe species were determined. Notable was the finding that I. cinnamomea A. H. Smith, I. geophylla Karst, and I. lacera (Fr.) QuΓ©l. contained concentrations of epiβmuscarine equal to orβhigher than muscarine itself.

Equilibrium binding assays support four (M 1 -M 4 ) and molecular cloning studies have identified five (m1-m5) muscarinic receptor subtypes in the brain and peripheral tissues. However, the overlapping affinities of virtually all of the available muscarinic antagonists have permitted the unambiguous
## Abstract Although there is evidence that nicotinic acetylcholine (Ach) receptors are influenced by ceramides, we do not currently know whether or not these sphingolipids can also regulate the muscarinic subtypes of Ach receptors. Using the wholeβcell patch technique, we demonstrated that the eff
