With her new friend, Will Edwards, at her side, Rose begins to track down clues and beat the smug Cal to the finish line. Of course, her budding attraction to the detective does make things more complicated, but nothing is too hard for a modern girl like Rose.
As Rose and Will uncover the truth of the murdered maid, they find themselves in danger they never suspected. And, as if that wasnt difficult enough, Rose has to decide what to do about the suitor she didnt want and the one who doesnt seem to want her.
