✦ Synopsis

When Hamlet drags the body of Polonius on to the stage from behind a curtain at the Theatre Royal North London, the head of famous actor Sir Roger Nutley is lolling at a bizarre angle that can only mean he has REALLY been killed. Meanwhile, a ruthless dognapping gang are spreading misery, snatching valuable pets to sell on the internet; and when a teenage girl's boyfriend tries to resist the dog thieves, the girl is stabbed. And a series of armed raids on shops selling designer handbags worth up to Β£20,000 each is stretching DCI Keith Warren's resources.
