Overview: Steve Demaree is a native of Lexington who hasn't been run out of town, yet. He has been married 43 years to a woman who lives with her mistakes. He has written 17 books with his most recent publication being Murder in the Dark. He is currently working on other books. It was either that or get a job. Demaree is at the age where he has acquired a lot of friends, and many of them write him regularly using the name Medicare. He had a CT scan recently on his brain, and it came back normal. His friends tell him to seek a second opinion. Not only is he a writer, but a reader, who reads approximately 100 books a year, just to see what the competition is up to. Some of them show promise.
