✦ Synopsis
Multiwa¨elength oscillation has been obtained in an erbium-doped fiber laser. A double-pass optical fiber Mach᎐Zehnder interferometer is employed as a comb filter inside the laser ca¨ity. To reduce the homogeneous linewidth, the erbium-doped optical fiber was immersed in liquid nitrogen. Simultaneous oscillation of ten wa¨elengths is obser¨ed.
