Kong, where he is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He has also held visiting positions with Qualcomm, San Diego, in the summer of 1995 and with Institute for Telecommunication Sciences, NTIA, Boulder, CO, in the summers of 1993 and 1994. His current research interests include wireless communications, multiuser communications, spread spectrum CDMA, digital implementation of communication systems, wireless multimedia communications, information theory, and coding.
