Abstract
We present a fast algorithm to calculate the radar cross section (RCS) of electrically large targets using a shootingβandβbouncing rays (SBR) method. By applying multiresolution grid ray tubes, we accelerate the ray tracing in the SBR. The numerical results illustrate the accuracy and efficiency of our proposed algorithm.βΒ© 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Microwave Opt Technol Lett 29: 394β397, 2001.
