✦ Synopsis

An upper optimal bound is obtained for the multiplicity of solutions of secondorder linear differential equations on networks with general boundary and node conditions. This bound depends only on the abstract-topological associated graph. In particular, the result holds for the multiplicity of eigenvalues of the corresponding operators.
