✦ Synopsis
A multiplexed white light interferometric ÿber optic sensors matrix system was designed and demonstrated. In this system, a Mach-Zehnder optical path interrogating technique is used to demodulate each sensor of the sensors matrix. The sensors matrix consists of M × N sensing elements linked by a 1 × M star coupler. The multiplexing capacity of the sensing scheme has been analyzed and an experimental result with a 2 × 2 sensors matrix was presented.
