To prevent the premature occlusion of vascular prostheses, endothelium is being cultured experimentally onto synthetic flow surfaces. A rapid method of identifying cultured endothelium on the prosthesis is valuable for determining the degree of fibroblast and smooth muscle cell contamination and to
