โฆ Synopsis
The aligned rank transform procedure provides a powerful and robust alternative to the least squares technique. In this article the aligned rank transform procedure for the factorial designs is formulated and the aligned rank transform analogues of some well-known multiple comparison procedures are developed. Further, the asymptotic validity of these procedures is proved. In addition, it is pointed out that this procedure can easily be implemented on any statistical package that can produce the least squares test and has the rank function.
