## Abstract **Summary:** The polymerization of styrene‐acrylonitrile (SAN) random copolymers in semi‐batch reactors is optimized using multiple objective functions that are often conflicting and non‐commensurate in nature. These include the average composition of the copolymer product, its number‐a
