✦ Synopsis
Abstract
A new multichannel restrictor for supercritical fluid chromatography has been developed. Four construction parameters (number, length and inner diameter of channels, and their geometrical arrangement) can be varied so that restrictors with different flow characteristics can be designed. The effective ratio, L/d, in which L is the length of a channel and d is the inner diameter, is about two orders lower than values assumed for porous frit restrictors.
