β¦ Synopsis
This is Darcy & Elizabeth anticipation of vows, with steamy scenes for ladies of an age.
VOLUME 1
After Mr. Darcy's proposal and her rejection of it, Elizabeth is sure she shall never see him again. However, he has cause to come near her at Longbourn and takes that advantage.
When the two have a chance encounter along the road, Elizabeth is forced to reassess her feelings for him, and a second encounter turns into a tryst, which leaves her having to either accept his renewed proposal, or reject him yet again.
VOLUME 2
Elizabeth is still reeling from her encounter with Mr. Darcy when she is invited to go along with her aunt and uncle on a trip. Lydia, who is behaving badly, becomes a central focus of Elizabeth's ire as Elizabeth struggles to deal with her melancholy and her regret over having dismissed Mr. Darcy's last proposal, of which she cannot tell a soul. Elizabeth and her Aunt and Uncle Gardiner visit Darcy's estate in Derbyshire, Pemberley. It is there that Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy have a tryst in the conservatory and Elizabeth realizes her truest feelings for him. But Fate intervenes in the form of an urgent message summoning Elizabeth back home, and to a scandal that could ruin all their lives forever.
VOLUME 3
Now that Lydia has left the family wallowing in disgrace and riddled with scandal, Elizabeth is even more certain than ever that she did the right thing by rejecting Mr. DarCy's proposal. But she is about to discover how much her suitor values her, and just how far he is willing to go to win her heart and hand-but will she be able to bend enough to see through her prejudices and into his heart?
This Regency variation has steamy scenes for Our Dear Couple (ODC).
