✦ Synopsis
MSssbauer spectra have been obtained from C3S solid solutions containing 0.50 wt % Fe203 enriched in Fe s?. After heating in air at 1550 , quenched specimens contain about 9% of this iron as Fe 2 . The distribution of iron on different sites is inferred from the s~ectra. Upon annealing the solid solutlon at 1025 , C2F exsolves rapidly.
