Similar to cardiovascular risk models, the routine use of breast cancer risk prevention models in the clinical setting to identify those patients at highest risk of developing breast cancer can maximize the riskβ€’benefit ratio of SERMs and provide an impetus to move forward with implementing breast cancer prevention.
