Tommy Adams has always dreamt of playing baseball for the Chicago Coyotes. Ever since he was a kid, going to the games with his father, there was nothing he could have wanted more. But when his father is shot and killed in the crossfires of a gang shooting, that dream has become something more.

Its become a need.

Tommy is determined to fulfill his dream, for his sake and for his dead father. And nothing will ever come in the way of that.

That is, until he meets free-spirited Aimee Lincoln, the girl from the rich side of town. Aimee is everything he ever wanted, and everything he shouldnt. Supportive, strong, and not willing to take crap from anyone, shes the perfect pillar to keep his world from falling apart. However, between her disapproving father, and his tumultuous past, their worlds collide, and its only their love for one another that can keep them going.

When a terrible accident threatens to tear them part, their love is put to the ultimate test. With his future on the line, Tommy lashes out at the one person who has promised to stick by his side. But Aimee knows better than to cower from a challenge, even though she knows that theres a limit to what she can take.

Will Tommy overcome the odds to become a baseball star and keep the girl? Or, will Aimee finally give in to her fathers wishes and move on?
