Nous sommes d'éternels indécis devant un immense comptoir de traite. Où sont les refuges, les feux, les campements, les postes, les raccourcis? D'objet en objet, notre regard se déporte, il erre, il s'épuise, et puis nous sortons dans la neige, dans la nuit, dans la mer, dans l'espace à la rencontre de notre étrangeté. Notre vie est une énigme dont nous ne comprenons plus le dilemme. Notre mémoire se serait-elle imbibée à ce point dans la terre de nos malentendus?

MOTS est le quatrième de la série de douze ouvrages, Autoportrait , publiés au rythme d'un par mois en 2014. Chaque ouvrage répond à une consigne singulière et son titre débute par une lettre du prénom de l'auteur.
