Orthorhombic molybdenum trioxide (␣-MoO 3 ) nanorods have been synthesized on a large scale by a hydrothermal method for electrochemical energy storage supercapacitor devices. The electrochemical properties of nanorods synthesized at different temperatures were investigated using cyclic voltammetry.
