Blend films of poly(L-lactic acid) (PLLA) and cellulose with various composition was prepared by casting from trifluoroacetic acid solution. One hydroxyl group per each glucose unit was esterified by trifluoroacetic acid. The trifluoroacetyl group was hydrolyzed completely during the degradation. We
