Champagne is on MIS

MIS Corporate Defence

Solutions is offering to give a crate of champagne to companies who come up to scratch in their IT security.

"The new year is a perfect time to get a workable IT security plan off the ground and we hope that MIS's challenge and competition will help companies to do this," explains Matt Tomlinson at MIS.

The challenge involves completing an entry form. Companies will then receive consultations to help them to determine what vulnerabilities their network has. The type of security needed will vary from company to company, depending on size and current level of protection.

The competitor will then have three months to come up to par. If they are considered to be successful, after MIS has checked the system, they will receive the champagne, and a certificate noting their achievement.

MIS is running the contest in order to raise the profile of security in the networked environment.
