✦ Synopsis
A new type of monomorph actuator has been produced that uses twinned lithium tetraborate, a paraelectric piezo-crystal, to improve the hysteresis and creep in conventional actuators employing ferroelectric materials. Its characteristics have been examined in comparison with other actuators.
