The sensor described consists of an anode mounted with immobilized alcohol dehydrogenase from Gluconobacter oxyduns, a cathode and an electrolyte containing hexacyanoferrate(I11). Its surface was covered with a gas-permeable membrane. Measurements were made without consumption of reagent by pumping
