✦ Synopsis
We discuss the fuzzy measure and the related idea of Choquet aggregation. We describe a prototypical application of the fuzzy measure in decision making under uncertainty. We introduce an extension of the fuzzy measure called the monitored heavy fuzzy measure. We give some examples of these new measures. Using these measures with the Choquet integral, we obtain a general class of aggregation operators that include both mean type operators and totaling type operators. We consider the application of this measure to the problem of decision making under uncertainty in the case in which the uncertain variable can have multiple solutions.
