chapters contain exercises and in general there is little emphasis on details or learning aids for the material. Some of the concepts and examples require further clarification and may be too complicated for a first exposure. However, many concepts such as the "stagecoach wheel effect in motion pictures" and the "hill-climbing parameter optimization technique" are clearly presented.

There is very litt,le technology in the book and not much computer jargon. Most teachers will want to supply these details themselves in addition to the given material. The author covers several topics not included in other books on the subject but are probably ones which the intended audience should treat.
