## Abstract In the present work we report the results of a Thermally Stimulated Discharge Currents (TSDC) study of a sideβchain liquidβcrystalline polymer. The different discharges observed in the TSDC spectrum have been analysed by the thermal sampling technique and have been attributed to specifi

## Abstract Liquid crystalline (LC) polymers with monosubstituted ferrocenyl units in the side chain were prepared by radical polymerizations of the corresponding LC and nonβLC acrylates. It was demonstrated that polymerization is useful for the LC orientation and expands the LC temperature range.
