## Abstract **BACKGROUND:** In recent years enantioselective esterification of racemic ibuprofen performed in organic co‐solvent media such as isooctane and cyclohexane and catalyzed by lipases, has been proposed as an effective way to increase the concentration of S‐ibuprofen in the racemic mixtur
