We analyze a molecular simulation of some three dimensional cavity problems. The ยฏuid is water at 15 C. Primary and secondary vortices are generated as are molecular trajectories. It is shown that three dimensional and two dimensional simulations dier.

Three-dimensional molecular cavity problems are formulated and solved numerically. The ยฏuid considered is water at 15ยฐC. The turbulent ยฏows generated are characterized by strong cross-currents over the usual primary vortex direction.
