โฆ Synopsis
Mo/ecu/ar Carcinogenesis Goes Monthly
We are pleased to announce that, starting with this issue, Molecular Carcinogenesis will be published monthly. Our commitment to rapid manuscript review is now coupled with faster publication, which we believe will make Molecular Carcinogenesis an even better source of information on the molecular mechanisms involved in the induction and development of cancer.
To further streamline the publishing process, we encourage authors to submit manuscripts to our corresponding editors in Europe and Asia, Drs. Allan Balimain and Toshio Kuroki (see details in Instructions to Authors, on the inside back cover of this issue). The editorial-office staff in Houston still oversees the peer-review process and can answer questions about submitting manuscripts and the status of manuscripts under review, but authors in Asia and Europe may find it more convenient to submit their work directly to the corresponding editors nearest them. Manuscripts submitted to the European and Asian corresponding editors are not necessarily reviewed in those geographic areas. As with manuscripts submitted to the Houston office, authors may suggest that particular reviewers or editors referee their manuscripts.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our editorial board, reviewers, editorial-office staff, and colleagues at Wiley-Liss and The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center for their continued efforts in making Molecular Carcmogenesa a success. We owe a special thanks to Stuart Yuspa, our Editor-in-Chief emeritus, who has continued to take an active part in the journal.
