✦ Synopsis
We have recorded the molecular beam, fluorescence excitation spectra for the 0 0 0 , 6a 1 0 , I 2 0 , and 1 1 0 rovibronic bands of the S 1 ( 1 B 2 ) R S 0 ( 1 A 1 ) electronic transition in aniline at a resolution of 0.0005 cm 01 . The observed transitions were fit to a rigid-rotor Hamiltonian, and accurate rotational constants were obtained for each band.
