Calcium titanate, CaTiO 3 , has appeared as a significant impurity in the synthesis of several ceramic host materials for the disposal of excess weapons grade plutonium and uranium. Previously reported heat capacities on CaTiO 3 extend only to T = 50 K. Also, the agreement of the low-temperature hea

โฆ Synopsis
The heat capacity of calcium has been measured at 85 mean temperatures between T 1 8 K and T 1 369 K using an adiabatically-shielded calorimeter in an intermittent heating mode. At T = 298.15 K, the recommended values for the molar heat capacity, molar entropy, and molar enthalpy increment referred to T = 0 are (25.77 2 0.08) JโขK -1 โขmol -1 , (42.90 2 0.11) JโขK -1 โขmol -1 , and (5811 2 12) Jโขmol -1 , respectively. The uncertainties are twice the standard deviation of the mean.

This paper presents a theoretical analysis of a heat exchanger with a negligible fluid flow pressure drop to determine whether it is better to operate the heat exchanger with the minimum or maximum heat capacity rate of the hot fluid from entropy generation point of view. Entropy generation numbers
