## Abstract **BACKGROUND:** This research describes the adsorption of copper ions from aqueous solutions following the modification of rubber (__Hevea brasiliensis__) leaves with formaldehyde solution. The main objectives of this research were to identify the binding mechanisms of copper ions on th
