✦ Synopsis
A new type of moire experiment is presented. Each grating is synthesized by Walsh functions. These functions have the property of being cyclically periodic, and the resulting moire is also cyclically periodic. Gratings synthesized by different Walsh functions were employed and a contouring measurement is described.
