Grundfos Pumps has added four heavy-duty wastewater pumps to its range of submersible pumps in the smaller 0.6 to 2.6kW range. This new Small Submersibles Family title covers a few families of pumps including DP (drainage), EF (effluent) and SEG (for drainage, effluent and sewage).

These new pumps have been developed to handle drainage, effluent and sewerage in a range of applications, including farming, small industrial and public buildings.

Grundfos says that the pumps are very tough and can be easily installed and dismantled for service or inspection on an autocoupling system or as freestanding portable pumps.

The new range is reportedly based on the design of the successful Grundfos grinder range (SEG).
