Electron spin echo modulation effects have been invcstlgated in trans bls(2,2~,5-tetramcthyl-3-unidazoline-3~~idc-l-oxyl4-il) ethylene biradicals involvin_e 14N OI "N nuclei in different positions_ The modulation frequencies are shown to be the nitrogen nuclear tranntion frequencies in radical fra,wents at rns = 0 of a triplet electronic spir. Quadrupole sphttin_g parameters for these nitrogen nuclei have been determined.
