โœฆ Synopsis

This patent covers a V-ring packing for valve stems. The V-rings have a non symmetrical geometry with a longer leg to the V on the inside diameter against the shaft. The base ring is symmetrical and the header has more offset than the V-rings. The purpose is to increase the radial loading of the V-rings against the shaft.
