A modified derotation humeral osteotomy was carried out in 10 patients with Erb' s palsy who all had severe functional limitation from residual deformity of their affected arm. The operation is described. The appearance and function of the arms was improved in every patient.

R~sum~. Une 6tude a porto sur 10 patients atteints de paralysie obstrtricale de type Erb traitrs par une ostdotomie modifi6e de ddrotation humirale. Ils prdsentaient un drficit fonctionnel dft it la ddformation consdcutive it la paralysie. II s ' agissait de 9 garfons, 9 ~taient atteints du c6td droit. L'~ge moyen dtait de 10,2 ans. Tousles enfants dtaient handicap~s par l'apparence et la fonction du membre supdrieur. Ceci a disparu aprbs l'oprration, dont la technique est
