A~tract--The present box-type solar cooker is modified shghtly, and three versions are analysed mathematlcally and s~mulated m the computer in order to see the effects on the stagnant temperature of the cooker under slmdar condmons It is found that the stagnant temperature is much enhanced m all modified models If the external surface of the absorbing top plate Is treated with selective coating, the better is its performance
