## Abstract The homopolymer of 4‐chloromethylstyrene (P1) and its copolymers with styrene (in various mole ratios) were synthesized by bulk and solution free radical polymerizations, respectively, at 70 ± 1°C using α,α′‐azobis(isobutyronitrile) as an initiator. Lithiation of these soluble polymers
