A model is developed to simulate non-isothermal packed-bed sorption on uniform as well as nonuniform zeolite crystals, Intracrystalline diffusion is assumed to be the controlling resistance. Temperature dependence of adsorption constant and diffusivity are taken into account, The swelling crystal model is used to incorporate size distribution effects. The exothermic nature of adsorption and temperature dependence of diffusivity are shown to have a significant effect on the column performance.
