## Abstract The copolymers of __N__‐isopropylacrylamide and methacrylic acid (P(NIPAM‐__co__‐MAA)), and the copolymers of __N__‐isopropylacrylamide, methacrylic acid, and octadecyl acrylate (P(NIPAM‐__co__‐MAA‐__co__‐ODA)) were synthesized by a free radical reaction. MAA was copolymerized as a pH‐s
