โฆ Synopsis
This paper considers a linear discrete-time system controlled by a GPC regulator. However the parameters and dynamic order of the system assumed for the regulator design differ from the true parameters. Hence there is a model-system parameter mismatch. For this case it is shown how to determine the stability of the system and then how to calculate the mean values and variances of input and output signals. The formulae presented give some insight to the robustness of the stochastic GPC controller.

The effects of model reduction on control systems with parameter variations are investigated. In order to reduce these effects, two modljied Padk approximation methods are used so that the reduced models can approximate the frequency response of the original transfer function not only at s = 0 and s
