โฆ Synopsis
A model of a strongly correlated electron liquid based on the fermion condensation is suggested. We suppose that the appearance of fermion condensation presents a boundary, separating the region of a strongly interacting electron liquid from the region of strongly correlated electron liquid. Thus, a strongly correlated electron liquid can be related to a new type of liquid separated from a strongly interacting one by the fermion condensation phase transition. We study superconductivity of a strongly correlated liquid within our model and show that under certain conditions the superconductivity vanishes at temperatures T ) T , with the superconducting gap being smoothly transformed into a pseudogap. As a result, the pseudogap c occupies only a part of the Fermi surface. The gapped area shrinks with increasing temperature and vanishes at T s T ) , ลฝ . while the single particle excitations have a width g ; T y T .
