We report a NIR Raman spectroscopy system incorporating hollow-core photonic bandgap fibers (HC-PBFs) in both the excitation and collection paths. Raman excitation was achieved at NIR laser wavelength of 785 nm. We demonstrate that using HC-PBFs, Raman spectroscopy can be performed without the use o
